Above, I reach for the heavens, so wide,

،ابرِ کوہسار ہوں گل پاش ہے دامن میرا
In mountainous lands, where clouds do reside.

،کبھی صحرا ، کبھی گلزار ہے مسکن میرا
Sometimes a desert, sometimes gardens' embrace,

،شہر و ویرانہ مرا، بحر مرا، بن میرا
My home shifts, city, and wilderness I trace.

،کسی وادی میں جو منظور ہو سونا مجھ کو
In a valley where I'm granted a place to bestow,

،سبزہ ء کوہ ہے مخمل کا بچھونا مجھ کو
Hills cloaked in green, a velvet haven to show.
